Congrats to our summer students (Charlotte, Soveren, Bennett, and Gabrielle) who all presented fantastic posters at the Annual Chemistry Summer Poster Session! A great way to end off a productive summer of research :)

The Murphy group went out for bubble tea after our group meeting!

The Murphy group has two new additions for the remainder of the summer! Gabrielle is joining us from Imperial College London on a summer research placement, while Purity is joining us for a summer research internship, facilitated by Visions of Science. Welcome to the two of them! 

A Murphster group outing to Dolce Gelato to celebrate our fearless leader's birthday!

Last week, at the 24th Environmental Chemistry Colloquium, the current graduate students in the Murphy Group presented talks on the research they've been conducting over the past year. It was a great 1.5 days filled with learning about the different research being done by all of the graduate students in Environmental Chemistry at UofT. A warm welcome to some new (and returning) faces! We have three new undergraduate students joining us for the summer (Layla, Bennett, and Soveren) and one undergraduate student returning (Charlotte) to the group after completing CHM395 over the 2024-25 academic year.

Isabelle, Olivia, and Xiaoying all gave oral presentations at the 2024 AGU meeting, and got to meet several alumni from the group who were also attending.
