Congratulations to Dr. Davis!

Today, Dr. Matthew Davis successfully defended his PhD thesis titled "An Investigation of Local and Regionally Significant Non-Agricultural Sources of Ammonia in Toronto and the Great Lakes Region." Join us in wishing him good luck at his new position as a Postdoctoral fellow at CSU Fort Collins.

The Murphy Group is so proud of our undergraduate researchers, who are both completing their B.Sc.'s this spring and then taking graduate studies by storm! Alex will be taking it to the next level at UofT, and Zoë is headed to UBC after spending some time working in Zürich!

SOS: Support Our Science, Nation-Wide Walkout

On May 1st, the Murphsters and UofT joined scientists across the nation in a walkout to advocate for increased federal investments in graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. We marched on the office of the Minister of Finance to demand a living wage for the students and postdocs who move science forward. For more information, visit https://www.supportourscience.ca/
