A huge congratulations to Dr. Mike West who successfully defended his thesis in September 2022! Mike is the fourth PhD student of the group and has been a champion of small rings. He has conducted field-leading work in the areas of cyclopropanol, cyclopropylamine, and homoenolate chemistry. Mike has accepted an industrial postdoctoral position with Merck & Co. in New Jersey.
