A huge congratulations to Dr. Tyler McDonald for successfully defending his doctoral thesis! Tyler is the fifth PhD graduate from the group and was a key contributor to the development of the small ring research program, including chemistry of homoenolates as well as the synthesis of small borylated carbocycles. He also spearheaded the Alberta contigent of the group and was a champion for western Canada. Tyler is off to Yale in January to begin a postdoctoral position in the Miller group. Best of luck Tyler!
