In this study (https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/scisignal.abo1857), by using our protein affinity purfication method and nontargeted analysis, we identified 7(S)-HDHA as the endogenous ligand of PPARa. This is the stongest endogenous PPARa ligand to date! Big thanks to our collaborators, as well as Henry Krause who co-supervised this project!
