Group Activities and Outings:
The Peng Group had a New Year party in Hui's apartment (February 2024). The Peng Group went to Screemers for their annual Halloween outing, where they toured seven haunted houses! They had a party beforehand with Halloween treats (October 2023).In September 2023, the group said farewell to Yufeng Gong! He leaves for a full professorship position at Ocean University of China. He will be so missed by everyone! Even though the group got rained on at their annual summer BBQ, that didn't stop them from keeping the party going inside! The Peng Group went to Fort York for their annual Halloween outing, where they went on a guided ghost tour! (October 2022) The Peng Group went on a retreat to Banff, AB and Golden, BC following their trip to the Canadian Chemistry Conference and Exhibition (CCCE) in Calgary (June 2022). We stayed on a buffalo ranch, went kayaking, visited a suspension bridge, and went hiking at many places including Lake Louise!
