Ye Tao

Ye Tao joined the Murphy for the second time in 2022. He got his PhD from Murphy group studying NH3 phase partitioning and atmospheric acidity in 2020, and after that he worked for Prof. Cora Young at York University for 16 months where he focused on the modelling of phase partitioning and atmospheric fate of inorganic acids and short to ultra-short chain PFCAs (perfluorocarboxylic acids). He then worked as a supporting chemist in a Geochemistry Lab in Hamilton where he was responsible for the method validation, research & development, trouble shooting, and quality control of ICP-MS measurement of soil digestion and leaching samples. Joined Murphy group again in 2022 with the great interest in developing IC-MS instrument for atmospheric amine measurement. Personal interests: cat, travel and history.
