Welcome to the course site for CHM 217H1, “Introduction to Analytical Chemistry”. This is the first in a series of courses covering the science of chemical separation, identification, and measurement. This intensive course features highly integrated lectures, labs, tutorials, and self-study units. This course provides an introduction to the core techniques used in contemporary analytical chemistry and builds on many of the concepts introduced in 1st-year, providing rich pportunities to develop valuable transferable skills.

Prerequisite checks will commence in August. Students who are not in a priority program should apply through the departmental holding list once it becomes available. Please do not contact the instructor regarding course enrolment before this date.
